Rashford couldn’t give 2 hoots about his country. Doesn’t deserve the shirt. He’s a selfish narcissistic wimp

This guy is talking out of his ass, saka will be around it after naming Foden and grelish before him. There is no way those two will start b4 saka, he's the main man right now.

England are shite anyway. They can't play together because without technically sound forgeigners around them the midfield can't control the game. I've only seen England play good football regardless of results, once. That was 1996. Let's be honest their painful to watch.

Toney, James, Saka and Maddison. None of the other players picked should be anywhere near the squad.

And he said "Bukayo Saka will be in and around it" man has been by far the most in form English player for quite a while now but not getting the much needed respect.

Why is Kalvin Phillips in the squad ? Why is Maguire in it?

Southagates slavish loyalty to players and refusing to pick on form is really holding England back.

BTW THE NAPOLI ULTRAS DO NOT SUPPORT ITALY NATIONAL TEAM IF YOU ARE WONDERING THEY ARE THE “NAPLES SCOUSER”

We don’t have any ultras in the national team so respectfully you could tell your journalists to up their game and stop portraying as “villain” ❤

Ben White should be next to John Stones that's all I'll say. He's the best CB England have hands down. Can play CB/RB equally. So so underrated it's literally laughable. Southgate needs to go. He's a bore.

I'm just glad Toneys in. Too many times we've been losing games and Harry Kane has just been walking around the pitch looking disinterested and letting himself be marked out of games. Toney has the aggression to make it a nightmare for defenders to play against him and cause the kind of havoc you want when you need to find a winning goal.

The last thing experienced, slow CBs want in tournaments is for your team to bring a player like Toney on who will bully them around late in the game. It's hard enough to play against when you're fresh, let alone tired.

Hoped maybe in the absence of rashford and mount we would have Bowen in the squad. He's been probably the best player in a struggling west ham side.

Would've liked to see March and Ward-Prowse get call ups to replace Mount and Rashford. Couldn't see them playing, but they're ones to look at for the future, especially March who is performing very well under De Zerbi.

Rashford ❌ Mount ❌ What England XI will Southgate start against Italy? 🤔 1325pm 21.3.23 he's got options…? that's nice. glad someone has… the confusion riddling the faux football community is made evident by ch4 airing football matches – everyone assuming this to be a uefa nations league game and not the uefa championships qualifying game… there's a difference, people. go back and learn what is what and which team plays which and when…
