I watched the senior woman's and the senior men's race live. Congratulations to all the champions on their outstanding performances and to the other athletes on a fine race. It's a treat to watch the meets live without geoblocking. Thank you for posting, all the best from the United States of America 🇺🇸.

Dramatic start to the U20 men's race with several runners going down in the first 30m. Can you imagine the gut sick feeling of the race being over for you before it really got going, then the adrenalin rush to try and recover all at once, then the slow regaining of your awareness of a new race strategy? This is why sport is gripping. Feel for the lads, yet it's part of race management and a demonstration of why speed and ability alone do not make the process work. It's really about one's mentality in putting it all together. Sometimes the process of becoming the finished article involves the process and experience of managing your mentality in small moments. What we coaches call keeping your concentration through out to the finish.
