http://www.FashionTV.com/videos NEW YORK – For a show that only lasted 5 minutes, much was memorable about the Marc Jacobs show during New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013-. The collection this season was quite graphic in comparison to the delicates on the other Spring 2013 runways. His models looked like mini Edie Sedgwick’s on the catwalk with their smoky eyes and tousled 60s bedhead hair. The show opened with the striking blonde Ruby Jean Wilson, the muse for Jacobs’ Spring 2013 collection this year. She wore a striped t-shirt over a pair of short black hotpants. Neutral hues and graphic vertical and horizontal black and white stripes dominated the catwalk, a very unexpected twist from the designer. Jacobs put emphasis on low slung skirts, exposed midriffs, shrunken blazers, column dresses and sundresses with scalloped edges. We’re not sure what we like more–baby tees or granny chic but this collection certainly had both!
