Conceived over 50 years ago, the Trans-Saharan Highway runs almost 5,000 kilometres from to Nigeria. Now it’s nearly finished.

    They should have added planting trees/vegetation alongside the road to avoid sandstorms depositing sand on the road, like China does.

    A day come when nobody will die of sun burn, thirst or hunger in the sahara. There's a LOT of fresh water as ice in Antarctica falling in salt water oceans, making sea levels rise deadly for many small islands populations, let's transport tons of ice to places that need clean drinking water. there's more thn 1 way to do it, i'm shure!
