    Jamie Redknapp is the latter day sky sports Andy Grsy, someone who feels he is an expert on any given subject and wants to talk over anyone that may disagree with him. Funny how both are such experts on the game but neither have made it as managers. Andy gray tried as an assistant manager briefly somewhere and Redknapp has never tried, probably because he's mot up to it

    Lighten up everyone, when you take a calculated gamble, anything is possible! There are NO certainties in football or anything in life, other than death. It’s surely not the first time Thomas Tuchel has made a decision that didn’t work out, and it certainly won’t be his last. In less than 10 months, he and Chelsea have won the UEFA Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup, it can’t all be bad.

    The more I hear Redknapp talking, the more it confirms anyone can become a pundit but not a good one. He is the same guy who argued with Roy Keane saying Reguilon was world class 😂 Jamie Carragher, Neville and Keane are miles better.

    How can anyone say it was a good idea?
    He didn't save one penalty and missed his shot.
    Doing that when kelleher was a striker and kepa's shot hasn't landed yet is proof.

    So shortsighted by Redknapp this.
    How does he not understand that this decision was based on historical performances during penaltys/penalty shootouts? Theoretically thats a very valuable statistic to look at in these circumstances. Of course on this occassionn it didn't play out the way the stats suggested it would, but that doesn't mean it was the wrong decision.
