She was a distinguishingly bad leader, and you should be ashamed to describe her legacy as "positive". It isn't.

Given that Putin is a virtual Dictator and probably as ruthless and corrupt as any should be allowed to be, what assurances did Merkel have on not being held hostage to Russian gas quantity and price?

Easy to bring good outcome to Germany economy when you organise Eu to serve German interest first. Having a news outlet singing only about her glory is an additional proof of this situation. Allowing mass refugee in Eu is one of the most stupid thing she has ever done, it will compromised Eu unity for decades even maybe forever because of that. In France we are tired to be vassalized by Germany we are not in 1939 anymore. I hope french politics will be more aggressive and seize power in Eu. I will always vote in this direction.

Was Hungary the first EU member state the migrants have entered? If they came though Turkey from Syria then they must have passed through Greece or Bulgaria (EU members) first to get to Serbia.

It really is a bad time for her to leave with the US acting like such a rouge state. Need to battle the American attempting to isolating both Russia and China, which if allowed to gain momentum will mean another cold war, and one that will even divide the world more so than the Cold War started by Truman. Merkel and Macron with the support of Italy could guide Europe to stand on its own and out of the shadow of the US.

On an international level, i cannot think of anything that might mar her image, but the horrendous handling of all these catastrophes in germany was atrocious
"We can do that" climaxed in a horrendous failure and the final formation of the extremist parties, the AfD, which while the ideas were good, were lead by horrible people, and the left and greens, which after the rise of the AfD began seeing Nazis everywhere
This is a problem to this day, and im glad that the left is mostly out of the picture for the next few years

In this video, we’re going to take a look at the ruling in France and explain why, while it might be good news for Le Pen personally, it is actually probably bad news for the National Rally and thus the French right.
