Last week, the Armenian Prime Minister announced that it has frozen its participation in the CSTO, accessing Russia of failing to fulfil its security obligations, and realigning itself to the West, particularly with France. In this video, we explain why Armenia has fallen out with Russia, what’s France got to do with it, and how it fits into a wider regional realignment.

Russia had absolutely no interest in defending Armenian terrorism and its occupation of UN-recognized Azerbaijan land. France has no real power and is living in its former imperial dreams. I see it more like a loser's league forming up.

Pashinyan miscalculated, he expected Russia will go to war with Azerbaijan over Nagorno Karabakh when everybody, including West adviced compromise. But going anti-Russia means trade with Russia will die out…

HEADLINE: Putin Ally Says Neighboring Country Will Not Exist in Five Years

QUOTE: Kremlin propagandist Margarita Simonyan has said Armenia's spat with Russia over a Moscow-led security bloc could see the South Caucasus country no longer exist within half-a-decade.

The editor-in-chief of the Kremlin mouthpiece RT is an ally of Vladimir Putin and a regular guest on state television where she pushes the Russian leader's rhetoric about his full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

During a Q&A at the World Youth Festival in Sirius, in Russia's Krasnodar region, Simonyan criticized Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. He has suspended Yerevan's participation in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), which is considered Russia's equivalent to NATO. (ARTICLE CONTINUES…)
    ———
The EIC of the RT ref'd in this article, Ms. Simonyan, is actually an Armenian descendant:
PER WIKIPEDIA: " Simonyan was born in the southern Russian city of Krasnodar, into an Armenian family.[5] Both her parents are descendants of Armenian refugees from the Ottoman Empire. Her father's family, originally from Trabzon, settled in Crimea during the Armenian genocide of 1915.[5] During World War II, they were deported by Stalin's NKVD secret police to the Urals along with thousands of other Hamshen Armenians. Her father was born in Yekaterinburg (Sverdlovsk). Her mother was born in Sochi to an Armenian family that had fled the massacres of the Armenians by the Turks in the late 19th century.[5] Her two grandfathers were World War II veterans.[6] Simonyan has described herself as both Armenian and Russian.[7]

Her family owns a restaurant in the town of Moldovka in Adlersky City District, Sochi.[8] Simonyan has stated that she is from a working-class family and decided at an early age that she wanted to become a journalist, first working for the local newspaper, and then for a local television station while studying journalism at Kuban State University.[2]

She spent a year as an exchange student in Bristol, New Hampshire, in 1995 under the FLEX Program (Future Leaders Exchange Program).[9] "

The fact that a child of the Armenian dispora can so glibly refer to the eradication of her ancestral nation – which has survived attempts to exterminate it since the Turkish genocide of 1915 – is nauseating.

We'll see what Armenians have to say about her loyalties.

If Armenia hadn't simped for the West and talked shit about Russia, Russia would've come to its aid. Now they lost Nagorno-Karabakh and they only have themselves to blame. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

The only allies Russia can gain under Putin are those who, to put it very frankly, are very weak and vulnerable to disinformation and fomented coups. This certainly dorsnt include countries who have had already tried to create distance between themselves and Moscow. Even the central Asian nations have considered giving Moscow the push.

nah russian abandoned Armenia because they saw siding with them as a political upset, due to Turkeys strong relations with Azerbaijan, and Russias dependence on the Bosphorus strait and Black Sea

16 federation in russia are turkic , the csto has 3 turkish country how do armenians exept turkic soldiers to fight turkic soldiers?? Plus since pashinyan all armenian relationships are destroyed

  22. @HAMPERKPRODUCTS

    March 7, 2024 at 2:18 am

Another thing to note is the good relationship that the Armenian diaspora in Paris and in California have with elected officials there. France and the US are some of the staunchest advocates for acknowledging the Armenian Genocide that Türkiye STILL refuses to accept as fact

That’s how Russia’s losing their allies
