   Pele is unanimously regarded by the majority of the world community as the greatest player of all times. Pele is the only player to win three world cups at the age of 30 and scored over one thousand goals. Messi, maradona, Ronaldo all cannot come close to match Pele s record. All these players who claims to be the greatest, all plays as though they have ruematissm in their balls.

   Messi and Ronaldo are arguably the best but they’re also in an era where they were fortunate to play in champions league clubs surrounded with other superstar players. In Maradona’s time teams could only buy up to 3 foreigners. Maradona never played on stacked teams

    Do not ask a person about Messi .ask the ball it self it will tell you . Messi doesn't need a cup to prove blind fan's that he is an alien
    One touch is enough to prove if a person is a goat or not. Simply whether he differentiate ability and achievement. Are you that much dumb to compare messi with ancient undeveloped pelle era. If messi lived in pelle era no body would have a chance to touch the ball ( no video reviews) and the goals would ve been uncountable.
    But men lend me your ear if this little guy has done this in the most technologically sofisticated time. It is double miracle ,people are still studying him and couldn't stop him
    Do you believe in statistics open his stats. Do u believe in goals count his goals. Do u believe in assists he has given you everything and plus dance like entertainment which no other one can provide. You Asking if messi is the goat makes me think If you are alive or not or do you ask these questions while you are in drugs or while you are drunk!!!!

    Messi and Ronaldo could be GOATs who did not win a World Cup like Cruyff in the 70's but to really settle the debate of who is the GOAT. Someone has to win the WC. Otherwise, I can see Mbappe becoming the GOAT in the future. His status may even be more solidified if he defends the World Cup this year.

    Yes he has to. People denigrate Pele’s achievements but Pele played a huge role in two of the three World Cup triumphs that he was part of. Maradona took a mediocre team and carried them on his back for an entire tournament. Argentina would have struggled to get out of the first round had it not been for Maradona. Messi’s problem is when he doesn’t have the ball, he loses interest. Only once did I see him look motivated when he didn’t have the ball, the 2021 Copa America and that performance was fueled purely by the desperation to get a title. He doesn’t look desperate here.

    Pogba won a World Cup with France but he is not better than KDB or Modric who never won it. If Pele played for Zimbabwe or any other non footbaling nation he would never won a World Cup. He actually played only couple games in 1962 yet has a gold medal. Klose scored more than than any other player but that doesn't make him greatest scorer in WC history

    As an England fan I hate Maradona with a passion, but I still have to say he is the actual GOAT and Messi or CR7 winning the World Cup doesn’t make any difference to the conversation IMO!

    Still known as one of the best player.
    Fifa also put honour of his name by giving best goal of the year award "Fifa Puskas award"

    Maradona thrived on conflict. Messi thrives in a well oiled machine.
    Different era as they say. Pele and Maradona played in an era where the international game and World Cup was the pinnacle of the game. Today it really is the club and Champions league that has superseded the international game.

    Football is a team sport. There is only so much you can do as a player in a team of 11. Individual players don't win world cups, teams do. Whether or not Argentina wins this World Cup, it's not that relevant to the question of whether Messi is the "greatest of all time".
