   A Welsh person would have been better discussing this. Gareth was playing wing back and taking and scoring free kicks for Wales at 17 but then the 'genius' English managers finally clicked on to do it.

    He scored 104 goals in NINE YEARS. 11 goals per season over his Madrid career, on 500 grand a week at a cost of 85 million. That is 130 million pounds adjusted to 2023.

    He was better than Ronaldo in terms of shooting, free-kicks, assisting, pace amd many more. Yet he was not considered the best in Real Madrid for 2 reasons. One: Overhyped Ronaldo who came with a tag of superkid from Man U.
    Two: He prefered golf heart and soul over football.
