   I'm not sure who these two "experts" are, but they don't seem to take into account that if Alonso doesn't win the league with Bayern, he'll be sack. The Liverpool job would have now gone and Leverkusen would have a new manager ( Alonso will no doubt easily get another job, Maybe Madrid in a year! ) But if Alonso goes to Liverpool he will most likely be given a chance, he won't have to win the league first season, just make CL, certainly to start with.

    What foolish reporting. Why go to Bayern a team and club in declining structure and unity. Why leave a team he team built to risk his future? He either stays at leverkuesen or liverpool or other club but certainly not Bayern munich

    How does he have more relevant experience at Bayern? He had 3 seasons there as a rotation player at the end of his career as opposed to 5 seasons at Liverpool as a key, first choice player and is a self confessed Liverpool fan.

    Also there’s the point about succeeding Klopp, just because some clubs have gotten it wrong doesn’t mean all clubs will, it’s also important that you look at the squads both examples he gives had, both Arsenal and United were an absolute mess squad wise when both managers left, Klopp is leaving the club in better health than at any point during his time here. You have a youth system brimming with talent and a very young first team squad with only really Salah and VVD who’ll need replacing any time soon.

    Only reason he wouldn’t choose Liverpool is if he wants to keep the same tactics he’s using now because that would mean there’s a bunch of forwards at Liverpool who are bigs names on a lot of money he’s going to need to shift as he won’t be using them which could cause problems in the squad. Bayern don’t have huge amounts of forwards with players better centrally playing out wide like Musiala

    Wait they think Bayern is a safer job? That club recently have been very fussy with managers even off field. I think he would be given more time at LFC for many reasons. If he goes to Bayern its a step down because they are lower in the league. 😀

    Deluded – why would you stay in Germany? To win the league again? I’d say Liverpool are actually fancied in champs league next seasons over Munich. It’s also crazy disrespectful to leverkusen moving to Munich.

    You have amazing academy players coming through at lfc with the blessing of the fans.
