But on the other side of the shop windows, it is another story. Shop floor workers are among the lowest paid, even here, in London’s glittering Oxford Street.

when i used to work for minimum wage,my check would be gone in a day.in americapeople get govt asst. and many people cheat the system.my ex used to work in ss office and so many people would be on govt asst. but 70cents in euros lol is nothing

They say Americas minimum wage is crap. Atleast you can live off American minimum wage in alot of cities aslong as you live in a studio apartment and make a budget. You can't say that for Europe or Australia or Canada.
