So Reece is a risk but Walker and Philips aren't? Total bs Walker won't even be fit for the group stage.

Gareth please please please take James Madison I can't stand Leicester but maddison is the best midfielder other than de bruyne hes world class without a doubt also if you are really really serious about winning this thing barnes as well…

As much as I like Kalvin Phillips, taking him having played only 20 min of football this season would be a gamble. There are other midfielders who are in-form, fit and playing regular football at their clubs. Yes he's good but Southgate should not pick him. As for Reece James, it is very unfortunate as he and Trippier would have been the rocks on the right side.

James had only himself to blame. He went into a reckless challenge got injured and spent a day in Milan instead of getting treated straight away. He put club over country.

Why would you take not fully fit players to the biggest tournament in the World? It makes no sense at all. Maguire to go? Spent most of this season on the bench. Philips? not played much at all this season. Grealish; again on the bench most of the time…. 26 fully fit and on form players that should be going… End of!

It's not a hard decision really ,keiran trippier has been world class consistently and is fully fit .

Obviously everyone’s loves a World Cup but let’s just cancel it at this point and post phone till the summer somewhere else. This will be the worst World Cup ever

With Reece James, England had a chance at a decent run. Without him, I don’t think so…
He’s only 22 so will have plenty more chances, but I understand his disappointment.
