Russian forces storm Ukraine’s Crimea bases
Backed by armoured vehicles, gun fire and stun grenades Russian special forces smashed their way into Ukraine’s Crimea airbase on Saturday.
One Ukrainian serviceman was reportedly injured in the take over at Belbek base near Sevastopol, while the base’s commander was also detained for talks.
Footage showed Russian soldiers overwhelming the airport in what appeared to be a matter of minutes, herding their Ukrainian counterparts into one area of the base.

Times Square stabbing: Bank of America vice president named as killed victim
Bank of America executive Erin Piacenti has been named as the victim killed in New York by a woman who stabbed two people in Times Square before being fatally shot by police. The woman has reportedly had a history of mental health issues, according to the NYPD.

it's clear that the russians tried to repeat the same tactic in their invasion of Ukraine in 2022 , but the Ukrainian army of 2022 is not the same Ukrainian army of 2014 and the rest of Ukraine is not Crimea

Ukraine had turned Crimea into a rundown deprived area, the area which had been built by Russia during the Soviet times. And just have a look how the area is flourishing now. People of Crimea say they are at home with Russia , and to go back to Ukraine is their nightmare
