http://www.FTV.com/videos MILAN – Makeup Artist Renato Bernardi describes the makeup look as transparent skin with a thin black liquid liner, looking wet like a patent leather that’s slushed on the eye. The hair is also very simple, according to Paul Hanlon, the hairstylist for the show. He’s created a low ponytail with a little bit of hairspray on the root. “Very simple, very believable,” he says. Model Maria Bradley calls the look “windswept.” The pleats were derivatives of a cheerleader outfit, says Christopher Kane, one half of the duo that make up Versus. The other half is the incredible Donatella Versace. “There’s a lot of references to sport,” says Kane, referring to the skateboarder pants and basketball themes. “It’s cool to model stuff that people your age would be wearing,” adds model Kate King. “We made it just work, yeah,” Kane says.
