They want to destory us corporations. The EU has a really pathetic economy… Many french people are fleeing france because of the terrible job market, the regulations make it impossible to make any money in small business. Germany is the only economy not yet collapsing. They are trying to use google as a punching bag for no cash. Google should just refuse to pay the fine… They can stop service in europe and see how the EU reacts. The EU needs to be disbanded, italy will leave soon, and soon, spain will as well.

EU AND RUSSIA (INCLUDING ASIA) SHOULD SUE IMMORAL GOOGLE TO THE FULLEST FOR BREACHING HUMAN RIGHTS LAWS, AND SHARING PRIVATE AND SENSITIVE DATA WITH TERRORIST THUGS OF THE ANTI-WHITE, ANTI-MORALS, AND ANTI-NATIONALIST GOVERNMENT-SPONSORED TERRORIST GROUPS THAT POISON EUROPEANS AND EASTERNERS IN UK AND ABROAD. AND FOR NOT PROVIDING HEALTH-CARE/BENEFITS/COMPENSATION TO THE VICTIMS THEY HAVE OPPRESSED AND CRUCIFIED WITHIN THEIR DAMAGING MULTICULTURALISM HUMAN RIGHTS .

One can use Android without play store anyway they want. Amazon took Android and used it's own app store on fire tablets. They can do whatever they want with it.
Every company controls their app store. One cannot install iTunes or iMessages on Android. Singling out Google alone doesn't make sense and just political propoganda.

All of the allegations against Google are standard practice in the mobile industry. For example, it is a standard practice for Companies to have exclusive tie ups. Apple, the biggest & most profitable corporation thrives on such strategy, but EU finds it illegal if Google pays OEMs to preinstall its search engine. Actually, Google is being attacked for being popular; for being liked by us. EU's bias against Google is unabashedly obvious.

Besides, why should Google be obliged to provide its services to all Android forks? Manufacturers are free to fork and have their own set of services just like Amazon and others in China. Google was right in pointing out that if a company launches a device which is incompatible with the Android OS, it will lose out on technical support from Google like Google play services, its popular apps and possibly on the benefits of Android ecosystem of the Open Handset Alliance. This is in the best interest of the users & developer community.

Dumb head Vestager needs to understand that Android forks will harm the ecosystem including the developers and consumers. EU has cherry picked on Google and turned conventional wisdom on its head with regards to the real issues about Android fragmentation. Someone needs to do a deep search on the roots of the biases of Vestager.

The regulator should be more concerned about the consumers' interest rather than the interests of competitors of Google. After all, fighting a legal battle against a private company with taxpayers money at the behest of disgruntled competitors with the objective of benefitting them and the possibility of harming consumers would be utterly imprudent and perhaps not what they are primarily mandated to do.

Funny how Google/Alphabet is getting fined but good ole Microsoft is still the lynchpin of p.c. OS's …And the EU doesn't bat an eye. Nevermind the fact that Apple's OS doesn't play well with ANY non crapintosh product on mobile or computer platforms.

Just the EU bureaucracy looking to make a quick buck, since European nations have realized that the failed EU experiment is dead weight around their necks.

🔴 Hello Bryan Carter of EuroNews ,

The claim that Google keeps its App Store called Google play safe for Developers and Android phone users is Laughable

It was reported that an estimated percentage of the Apps in Play Store have Viruses in them, INTENTIONALLY

Let me describe another more Serious Crime Scenario :
If the only place you can download the updates to the Apps available on Play Store is By using the Play Store, what's to stop them from Intentionally Injecting Spyware into your phone using an App update , once they have profiled you and Identified who you are , and Targeted you for invasion of your Privacy
