Malta murder trial: Key witness for murder trial of investigative journalist found with stab wounds
Melvin Theuma, a self-confessed middleman in the murder of Maltese journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia has been found with stab wounds just hours before he was due to give evidence.
Police say it appears the injuries were self-inflicted and that he is in a serious condition in hospital.
Evidence given by Theuma has implicated businessman Yorgen Fenech in the car bomb which killed the investigative journalist back in 2017.

So he purposely damaged his own vocal chords with a knife right before he was to give testimony?
And the cops who had him under 24 hour surveillance weren’t aware that anything had happened to him until his lawyer called him to get him ready for court?
