EU lawmakers voted to approve controversial new copyright laws that will force the big internet companies to share profits with publishers, broadcasters and artists. German MEP Axel Voss joins us live from Strasbourg for more on the new legislation.

    Legislation written by corporate lobbyists and approved by a rubber stamp legislature. This can only serve for more paywalls and to make the internet something like network television.

    When it comes to corporate interests, parliaments become like the Duma, with Putler's agenda being sacrosanct.
