Compared to SL, this seems quite primitive. I cannot imagine it being interesting. It sounds more like a pyramid scheme to me, or a bad idea gone worse. SL is not a pyramid scheme, since it is free to play for most users, and has an established niche. I just may not get it, since there are so few details.
