It seams the problem has its origin in the bank/housing systems…

We have two big econiomical issues. Loans, private ones, and a wacky instable currency.
The education system is not an ecomonical issue though just a "playhouse" for ideological crusaders wanting to make money on pupils. Long term our biggest issue for sure.
Crime is a PRproblem but really it is very active young criminals that cause the shootings. Why police can't handle it is ..beyond most Swedes. It is just ????

I have a company that sells services. The problem is getting paid. Those who handle collection (the bailiff) are not doing their job. They want to write off money that a client owes us, without informing the client. It's a double fault. I see from a larger perspective that it is extremely serious, that you are unable to handle debts/debt collection. The debts are growing uncontrollably:
The age group in debt that has increased the most compared to last year is the elderly. 55,906 people who are 65 or older have debts with the Kronofogden, an increase of 9 percent. The total debt for debtors over 65 is now over SEK 25 billion. 23 Jan. 2024

5:40 sweden in 2013 before the mass immigration from mainly middle eastern countries = one of the safest countries in the world.

Sweden after 2013 after the mass immigration from middle eastern countries= one of the most dangerous countries in Europe with most of the gangs not being able to speak Swedish… the language of Sweden.

Tldr= "we cant be sure what caused this increase in crime."

Mass immigration from countries that don't share our values and hate us is destoying Europe. This channels refusal to ever mention the fact that immigration isn't purely a good thing os really starting to border propaganda levels.

also homicide rate is more representative statistic than firearm attacks, using the latter may seem like cherry picking to prove a point, just like a debate class.

    March 13, 2024 at 12:44 pm

Give me 3 guesses as to the cause of the problem….10s of thousands of illiterate muslims entering first world countries with no possibility of contributing to the economy. Just needed 1

Social Superpower, with people constantly running on hamster wheel. Schools preach and glorify Protestant minimalism. People with tertiary degree live in shared flats deep into their 40s. High skilled professionals can afford a single apartment in suburb in entire lifetime, if at all.

  14. @LuKo3x5066

    March 13, 2024 at 12:44 pm

Yeah, sure – it's taking money from politicians created these problems and not transforming social ideas into their parodies – instead of promoting Swedish culture, spreading cultures of less successful nations; fighting for a gender equality understood as equaling rights of a man who declares themself as a woman with biological women; instead of focusing on the welfare of Swedish working class focusing on the welfare of migrants (especially the minority of migrants who don't want to work) and quite rich activists. So Sweden should give more voice to politicians, activists and ultra-rich, because this wil FOR SURE solve their problems.

  15. @bensuico1224

    March 13, 2024 at 12:44 pm

Part of the problems is the large amount of money spent on the refugees who had never paid taxes.

  16. @gatopardoantico5657

    March 13, 2024 at 12:44 pm

please note that interest rates indirectly affect disposable [or after tax] income; they influence personal income and only then after tax income.

  17. @JohnJaggerJack

    March 13, 2024 at 12:44 pm

One can only speculate why a nation such as Sweden is performing so poorly, financially. Probably the problematic generations of 70's-80's at it again…

Nordic European economies are BAD with innovation. Thousands of regulatory pressure and regimented society, means penalty for failure is far greater than the prize for success. That results in a workforce which is disciplined but does bare minimum at high reliability.

The absolute last thing sweden needs in 2026(election), is their left-wing parties taking back control, unfortunately, i do not expect much wisdom and patience from the swedish electorate, they seem uniquely affected by stockholm syndrome.

  37. @lx4

To say that the Moderate probably will be voted out in the next election is a bit of a stretch. Judging by the polls it's about 50-50, if Sweden will get a left or right-wing government next.

If we get a right-wing government it will almost certainly include the moderates and most likely be led by them. A less likely scenario for a right-wing government is one led by the Swedish democrats with the moderates taking some of the most powerful ministries.

  41. @Fluxwux

The popularity commentary about the government is somewhat wrong tho. Ulf Kristersson has seen increasing approval recently due to NATO accession and decreasing gang crime, Kristersson even surpassed the opposition leader in popularity (due to ALOT of insane scandals affecting the Social democrats and Magdalena Anderson being criticized for her bully-like behavior).

On top of that the government poll results are historically very high this time of the term, the current government is in fact more popular than any government during the 21st century during the same time of its first term.

  42. @High1QWealth

  46. @stiglarsson8405

    March 13, 2024 at 12:44 pm

Thank you.. it was a nice way to explaine our contrys strugle!
Not that we suffer to much.. we are still one of the richest country in the world/per capita and one of the "happiest " country!
Its just this, that we are export dependance.. about 65 % of our economy is dependent on a functional global trade!
And then.. why dont we use Euros.. I think that its becuse any goverment righ or left.. dont like to use austerity matters, one dont get votes for that! Its this then Swedish "krona" lose in value, export get cheaper and import get more expensive.. kinda self regulated.. for the country!

A welfare state like Sweden can only exist in relatively stable and peaceful times.

Look around, we’re on a war footing now.
