JUST IN: EU’s Ashton says world powers and Iran agreed that nuclear and sanctions experts will meet before November 7-8.
Iran has indicated a readiness to scale back its most sensitive nuclear activity in a clear signal that it is willing to compromise with the West to win relief from harsh economic sanctions, diplomats said on Wednesday.
But the details of Iran’s proposals, put forward during negotiations with six world powers in Geneva, have not been made public, and Western officials were cautious whether the Islamic state was willing to go far enough to nail down a deal.

since the time of the Göktürks yr 500-800 when we had an empire that reached from Japan , Korea to the American Caribbean all the way to the last empire of the Ottomans and still after we Turks raised our daughters as generals and military leaders, taken as the wives by Emperors and Kings to command their armies. The Chinese called us a brave and austere, and politically savvy people . Atatürks daughter was the first female bomber pilot in the world. Members of my own family held Istanbul against the British in both word wars. that’s why Churchill said the Türk took on all comers and threw them back into the sea. every Türk is born a soldier including the current generations, respected by military leaders all over the world as professional careerists in NATO and other nations. I myself was raised this way, and I raised my daughter as such.
