   Man was talking about the stadium as a bad atmosphere being the reason they played poorly. That makes so much sense. Qatar should've thought about that as they put their bid in for hosting.

   All I hear is excuses. The US dominated that game. England could not get a single pass through the middle because Tyler Adams, Weston McKennie, and Yunus Musah had the entire midfield on complete lockdown all match. They have arguably been the best midfield in the entire tournament. It's not accident and NO ONE wants to play the US right now.

   It’s kinda amazing the excuse making being made. England were outplayed by a team that also proved they weren’t outclassed

   The shock / inability to create had nothing to do w atmosphere. It was getting out worked by a more athletic midfield

   The arrogance of the English media is an embarrassment. Scrambling for excuses. The US completely took the midfield away from England, allowing them to play side to side for the most part. The midfield bossed them around. England looked lost and tired at times. England always looking 2-3 rounds ahead, like they already have the tournament in their pockets. You would think with that arrogance they have won every WorldCup. Reason why everyone laughs at England when they get knocked out.

    Fact is, England didn't look bothered and the USA had to play the game of their lives just to scrape a draw. Not sure why Mount plays ahead of Foden who is a U17 World Cup winner and golden ball winner. I want Maddison, Foden, Alexander-Arnold and Grealish all starting the next game. Embarrassing result against a mediocre side.

    English media and fans need to learn to be humble or this choking will never end. Brazil is still learning but nobody been learning this the hard way more than England. Brazil is the most arrogant in the world and England is the Brazil of Europe minus the hardware. All that arrogance and nothing to show for it. Watching Italy beat them was one of the greatest moments

    Be honest in the first match, Iran was not there with their heads , to play well against England, England won but Iran did nothing to get a good result against England, u can see that in this world cup that the fysiek aspect in the game get bigger and bigger, countries who we aspect they could be beaten by the bigger football countries, those countries try to get results with fysiek football and bring lot of energy in the game,
    England have there weakness so as every country has there weakness, sometimes is a draw a good result to get through the next stage , when u not be able to win a match than u need be sure u not lose a game, i see big football nations , struggle in the World Cup, African teams play with lot of fysiek, south American teams play also fysiek football, its difficult as European team to play those kind of matches, the Dutch side have problems with this kind of style of football, Dutch League isn't fysiek, that is why it is so difficult for Dutch players to play in the English league, i didn't thought that the English team have a problem with the fysiek and high intensity style of football from the team US, i was surprised to see that England had no answer to beat Team US.

    I was at the game… The atmosphere was electric, the Qataris have done a great job. The whole experience was sensational. The stadium is absolutely beautiful. The "golf carts" were for the disabled ♿ 🙄. Sure some people probably used them but who cares. Honestly this Media is no better than the England performance last night…

    Why would the atmosphere be good? England had 3 shots on target all game and got outplayed in the majority of the game.

    I watched the game from the tv and there were much noise from the Americans even tho the match was pretty dead.

    What happened to England between Monday and Friday? Did they all get bad news just before they went on the field to play USA? They were like a different team and back to the same old England where they just pass the ball to each other in their own half, afraid to go on the offensive and then when they did more often than not gave the ball away. Dissapointing and embarrassing for the fans. I honestly think if they play like this on Tuesday Wales will beat them!! Appalling performance! No excuse for these players who get paid millions per year!!
