Is Turkey not allowed to join the EU because they are predominantly non white and muslim? Surely, if the Eu is to thrive they must keep expanding east

Fuck. I thought NATO joined the war along with us and clashes in the Black Sea had already begun for a moment.

I would love if the speaker would speak with a bit more melody and inflection, now it sounds like an AI-generated voice.

Turkey and Ukraine have sent Russia's fleet, what's left of it, into a little corner.

Domination of the Black Sea isn’t just about ships. Air power is the most important key. Romania is building one of the largest air bases in the World. You guys really need a military analyst if you want to talk about military subjects.

There is one piece of fake news here. Turkey didn't denied black sea access to British ships. First off, UK donated those ship last year. And According Montreux convention, Both Russian and Ukrainian ships can't use Turkish Straits. And According Head of Ukrainian navy, They didn't ask for passage. So Ships were coming to Turkey and that was their destination. Secondly, This video should have mention, Turkey was also building 4 Corvettes for Ukrainian Navy. Billion dollar naval deal between Turkey and Ukraine was important.

It seems like for all the trouble Turkey causes in NATO , it is a pretty valuable asset to NATO naval capabilities. No wonder the others tolerate it for so much and so long.

Amerika is pushing Erdogan to do the Canal Istanbul . If that happens NATO milittary ships can cross as much as they avioiding the Montro Convention .

Well there is also a massive investment side for Turkish naval force for 20 years and most of the new vessels are Turkish made I guess this also effects the balance of power since Russia lost almost half of its fleet to Ukraine

I wonder if this is any precedence that physical naval warships will play a more insignificant roll due to newer improvements in naval warfare. Just how air craft carriers made battleships obsolete, drones and missles seem to have made the idea of ships even more redundant.

There will always be a need for em. But I wouldnt be surprised if fleet sizes decreased because they are so vulnerable in the modern age.
