The economic impact of Europe’s refugee crisis – real economy
Some 1.2 million asylum applications were made in Europe in 2015. To put that figure into context, this summer more than 300,000 applications were made.That’s only around 600 applications for every million Europeans.
Asylum rules in Europe can cause confusion about the economic impact because it is often difficult to distinguish between genuine refugees and economic migrants, so here is a crash course.

Notice the like to dislike ratio and read the comments. I'm American and I'm personally sick of this whole "They're doing the jobs we don't want to do" argument. You could use that same argument for outsourcing manufacturing jobs. What western person would want to work for pennies in an Asian sweat shop? As if to suggest that if not for those sweatshops in Asia the goods simply wouldn't be produced. That's nonsense! I understand that large corporations not just in the United States but throughout the western world benefit from the cheap labor but that doesn't benefit the native born population. What it does is drive down wages. How is importing cheap labor to benefit large corporations being sold to ordinary working people as an economic benefit? It's ludicrous. Then they always want to bring up the aging population. What is the reason for that? Could the lowering of wages largely driven by immigration have an effect on people's reproductive choices? People in developed countries are having fewer children and having children at older ages because children are expensive. Driving down wages across many industries doesn't help us to be able to afford to have more kids.

Why do all of the videos relating to the effects of migration do this predictable dishonest thing?
Lets ignore the specific downsides and all those who are negatively impacted and focus only on the positives whilst pretending we are giving a complete picture.
Also lets omit the context required for many of the positives such as how these upsides are mostly contingent on controlled and limited migration as opposed to the mass movement of people we are seeing in places expressing concern at the moment.

Does anybody else remember all of the video showing the migrant crisis in a different light? Now all I can find on YouTube is a bunch of videos supporting migration and how it is a benefit to the European Union. I think the real question we should be asking is why is the content of this website so skewered? Overwhelmingly the viewpoint of most people is that the migrant crisis is real and that all of these videos are just Band-Aids trying to cover up the truth.

This show is misleading and not showing the real story about the side affects of allowing Muslims to install Sharia law enforcement. Because as soon as you let one in they will all migrate to the same place and then take over. Just look at all of the other countries where they have large groups of Muslims living .

I think this is a video full of propaganda a big word for lies. Why have we heard & read that 80% of them are collecting benefits because most of them won't work & are unemployable. Is this video put out by governments that want to portray a view that is far from truthful. I have read how governments punish people that don't go along with their narrative. I believe it's all lies in this video & I believe the citizens that have the nerve to speak up & tell it like it really is, completely opposite of what they are saying here. Because I have seen videos of the destruction the "refugees " are causing. I noticed that not once did they mention a no go zone, where even the police are afraid to enter unless they have large numbers, because they don't want to be killed by a "refugee". I can't blame them for that. I would have to be well armed to go into a no go zone

The migrants will want to bring their parents and maybe even grandparents for 'family reunion'.
Australia has had a massive migrant intake. We were told we had to accept the Asians and Africans because we had a greying population, and more working age people were needed to form a tax base to support our aging retirees.
Now we have an election, two of the major political parties are courting the migrant vote by promising them that their parents can come and stay as long as they like.

your argument is based on a big fallacy, that the current crop of migrants are trainable, willing and wanting to work and willing and wanting to assimilate. Current numbers show that the current crop are not any of the above with more than 80% still unemployed and unassimilated 4 years after arriving in country. Accept it, Merckel made a huge mistake making a huge bet on a ponzi scheme that collapsed afrer the first tier. you have anecdotes, not facts.
