Not a big athletics fan and not Scottish but I LOVE watching Laura run. However Ciara is pushing her close in my affections, my having just watched her beat Laura in the Diamond League in Brussels. Two wonderful athletes, maximum effort, mutual respect. Love it
Delighted for Ciara. Always knew she was up there with the best . It's all coming together now. She done a great interview with David Gillick after on RTE. As she said Gerry K will have the best seat in the house. Great as well to see her refer to her commonwealth medal and now this medal. It's the future for both parts of Ireland. What a positive week for Irish athletics. Hopefully Mark English will nick a medal as well. Another class act.
