Day 2 Highlights – European Athletics Indoor Championships -…

Excitement and feeling got to a fevered-pitch on Day Two of Istanbul 2023, with even more medals being won and documents being damaged.

In a terrific minute, the home group went wild many thanks to Turkey’s Tugba Danismaz. Winning a victorious gold in the ladies’s three-way last. It was a minute loaded with feeling that brought the group to their feet.

Femke Bol verified yet once again that she is just one of the best professional athletes in the world, preserving her females’s interior 400m title with an additional sub-50 2nd efficiency.

Norway’s Karsten Warholm conquered a solid area to win the guys’s 400m gold, gaining back the exact same title he won at Glasgow 2019.

There was an Italian 1-2 in the guys’s 60m last. Samuele Ceccarelli beat Olympic 100m Champion Marcell Jacobs by a really slim margin. It was a solid revealing for Italy.

And Laura Muir won her 3rd European interior gold in the females’s 1500m, contributing to her gold medals from Belgrade 2017 and Glasgow 2019.
