Sure Armenia wants to join the EU. But there is no way EU will agree to it.
Sorry, but Azeri gas is far more important than whatever Armenia (if anything) exports to the EU
About a year ago Armenia learnt a hard lesson in geopolitics. I think they are due for their second lesson.

Tbh, it's crazy even considering having Armenia part of the EU without Turkey. That whole region is a powder keg waiting to happen. And we already have enough on our plate with Ukraine.

I personally think EU expansion is in our (as an Hong Kong born American democrat) interest, especially in Georgia and the Caucuses, as the Pax Russica collapses and NATO can roll into traditionally Russian territories. However, I would consider the Balkans a lost cause; the geopolitical situation has deteriorated too much, and it’s just not worth the potential damage to western credibility. I would try to invite Israel into NATO, as it could give us better control over the country and allow us to help Israel in its current war (and future ones), while keeping the humanitarian situation under control.

As a Turkish i m supporting that Armania must join EU,so EU have to pay more money to us for safety of Armania ,it ll be an extra budget for European countries ,weak EU is good EU for us 🙂

The thing is of armenia joins the eu and gets rid of russia. Then russia will start to give azerbaijan a lot of headaches which the eu would not want since they rely on their gas today. But then again azerbaijans gas or oil wont last forever. The country will become useless in a couple of years when the caspian sea is depleted of its resources.

Armenia might be upset about the regions in Azerbaijan. Keep in mind thought that these regions were not even claimed by Armenia, so the CSTO has not obligation to help. It would have been a different story if Azerbaijan had attacked Armenia proper.

european union doesnt need corrupt countries that also have ethnic/racial disputes

Then I think Taiwan can and should also apply to join the EU although it's located in Asia. The name we choose to join the EU will be a problem . Also, we need to convince China that we want to join the EU just for its potential economic benefits and not for any political gain , but I think we can find a solution to satisfy all parties on this issue

Another thing why the EU needs Caucasus and especially, Georgia as it has a sea coast and connection with the EU states is that the EU is heavily dependent on others, some EU countries were heavily dependent on Russia a few years ago, some are dependent on African countries, some imports also go through Turkey.
The thing is that you can never trust Russia, any type of dependence on Russia is a tool in their hands to punish you. African countries are heavily influenced by Russia and China lately, they're thrown into economic black hole by China and sooner or later they'll be in huge debt, increasing Chinese influence and control. Turkey is historically a geopolitical "player" like literally a player of many sides, they drift around and choose with whom to side, even today they seemingly are on Ukraine's side, but some shady things happen. I also believe Turkey will never become an EU member and it has nothing to do with Islam or geography, Turkey is simply too big both as an economy and population and it'll significantly shift power balance in the EU that Germany and France will never want, while Georgia and Armenia are small and can't do something like that.
The only other way for the EU to get imports from Asia, including some necessary resources are through the Caucasus and Georgia's sea coast. Even better if the EU contacts Central Asian countries that have shit ton of resources and instead of further strengthening big boys in the region the EU pays for resources to Central Asian countries, this is the best outcome for the EU in many ways, as the EU gets way cheaper resources and it can't be used as a tool against the EU and at the same time they'll strengthen Central Asian countries that are contested lands between China and Russia.
I mean, you just name a resource and Central Asian countries have it, gas, oil, uranium? Azerbaijan if democratized also has shit ton of resources, Georgia if properly developed can generate incredible amount of electricity in hell of a lot of "green" ways.

As a turkish, i think it will be a good opportunity for young armenians (about jobs or education) and i also believe that armenians easily integrate to europe society. So.. it is a good choice for them.
But, there is russia you know. membership of armenia and also georgia may cause russia to become even more aggressive. It may even cause russia to attack these countries. I'm not sure if eu membership worth the risk.
In every way, i wish the best for armenians.

If we use the word "Geographically" it means we use "Geography" to describe something, and "Geographically" there is no separate continent of Europe, why? Because continents are divided according to major tectonic plates and there is no separate European tectonic plate, purely "Geographically" there exists the Eurasian continent.
The true division of Europe and Asia is not geographic, it is subcontinental at best and that's also as arbitrary as it can get, otherwise, it is mostly political, geopolitical, and cultural/historical/religious.
Both Georgia and Armenia are European because they are 2 of the most ancient Christian countries in the world, even if you forget religion and don't pay attention to it (even though Christianity today is largely European religion) it is actually not about religion at all, but whatever culture it brings, Protestant, Catholic, or Orthodox doesn't matter as some of the major things for all Christians is the same, thus the closest people for Georgians and Armenians are Europeans.
Now historically, Georgia and Armenia even though both struggled like nobody else on this planet, still have vastly different histories, Armenia peaked very early, while Georgia peaked in the Middle Ages, both followed feudalistic rule that is exclusively European type of ruling. Due to the coast, Georgia had very early influence from ancient Greeks and much better relations with the Roman Republic and later the Roman Empire, during the Byzantine times relations were changing, but it was the same sphere of influence and Armenians had a significant population in Anatolia too.
This narrative of "Oh, they're not Europe" is pretty dumb, whoever mentions this can be labeled as an idiot, cause they know nothing about geography, history, religion, cultures, politics, geopolitics, and so on.
One thing though which is geographic and it won't go away is that Armenia has no sea coast unlike Georgia or Cyprus, I don't see it ever becoming a member until Georgia becomes a member and good for them as even though Georgia struggles right now it is still much closer to the EU.

In Bulgaria. we have various ancient Armenian churches in Plovdiv and even journalists of Armenian background or Burgas for example. We recognise the Armenian genocide. Let them join. Yerevan is not far similar to Larnaca. The same applies for Georgia. It is a very old Orthodox country that has suffered too much.
