Designer Claire Waight Keller was looking to bring out the feminine confidence through her day and evening designs in a flirtatious fashion where “…you can see skin popping out, shorter lengths, transparency, so there’s a little bit more sexiness and that’s important to feeling your femininity.” The mixing of fabrics brings out the crisp feel and modernity of the cloths especially when laser cuts can be done easily. The playfulness of boy meets girl in the cloths can be expressed in the way that the models were carrying themselves so lightly and freely and were very much enjoying the clothes themselves. As Hamish Bowles of Vogue USA sums up as Chloé’s house celebrates its 60th Anniversary: “It looked like a vital modern proposition.”
