King Felipe accuses Catalan leaders of division

Spain’s King Felipe has accused Catalan leaders of shattering democratic principles and causing division.

In a rare national address, the Spanish monarch condemned the organisers of Sunday’s independence referendum.

“We have all been witness to the events that have happened in Catalonia, with the Catalan Government’s final goal of illegally proclaiming the independence of Catalonia[…]They have sought to shatter the unity of Spain and national sovereignty, which is the right of all Spaniards …

    Just goes to show how easily brainwashed people are when you can convince someone division is good and unity is bad. Who needs an army to invade a country when it's so easy for a foreign secret service to encourage the target country's locals to decapitate their own economy and divide and conquer themselves.

Egypt: Dozens killed in clashes between protesters and security forces

More than 40 people have been killed in Egypt during protests outside of the capital city Cairo.

More than 40 people have been killed in Egypt during protests outside of the capital city Cairo.

In Alexandria, Egyptian police and security services reportedly fired round after round at Muslim Brotherhood supporters. At least 10 people were killed and a further 100 injured,according to state media.

In the Suez Canal city of Ismailia, seven people were said to have died

Emergency services reported that eight protesters were killed in clashes in the Mediterranean town of Damietta, five in Fayoum south of Cairo, and four in the Nile delta town of Tanta.

They said that eight people were killed in Alexandria and four in Port Said.
