Diet specialist counts cost of libel action
French nutritionist Dr. Pierre Dukan is a top selling author whose revolutionary diet has taken his books into the best seller lists in the UK and the US.
The doctor’s diet was challenged by a rival nutritionist who claimed the protein rich regime could cause heart disease and breast cancer. Libel, said Pierre Dukan. Not so, said a court of law, and a victory for Dr. Jean Michel Cohen.
