euronews cinema – Hoffman gets behind the camera
http://www.euronews.com/ Dustin Hoffman has made his directorial debut at the tender age of 75 with “Quartet,” a film that features an all-star British cast.
Set in the English countryside, the film centres on a
group of former opera singers living peacfully together in a retirement home, but the peace is shattered by the arrival of a once-famous diva played by Maggie Smith.
“Quartet” will be released in the UK in January 2013.
