So VDL has ensured that EU citizens will pay top dollar for their EV's as well as their gas, oil and military technology!

Is she looking after the best interest of the USA or the EU citizens?

Whatever happened to Ursula von der Leyen's earlier speeches, not all that long ago, about "taking on" the U.S., supposedly because the so-called "Inflation Reduction Act" could lead to a 'war of government subsidies' for emerging industries built around renewable energies, with respect to which Europe could not afford to "lag behind"? Now, sitting in the White House and facing Biden, von der Leyen says that EU seeks to be "complementary" to the U.S. Could it be that saying something in front of the U.S. president is not quite as simple as saying something at a great distance from the U.S. president, and/or could their [the U.S. and EU] common and growing fear of China have spurred them to "team up"?

Good news! Now Europe must put together a smart and strong team to work out the details , since the Green Deal Industrial Plan and the Inflation Reduction Act must compliment each other , now that the absurd and manufactured War in Ukraine, started during the Privatizations in Russia after the Collapse of the Soviet Union with " Rigged Auctions" by the Neocon Oligarchs to steal the best Russian Assets, is uniting Russia , China , India, Saudi Arabia, Iran, South Africa, Brazil, Pakistan, Indonesia, Mexico , etc., in rejecting tne Neocon Oligarchs new World order , a nightmare from hell. Europe and America must work out together the transition to Clean Energies Transportation or the Western Culture and Economies are finished. Europe must open 15 to 25 Electric Vehicles & Batteries Factories, Experts and Tesla agree, while working non – stop on Synthetic Fuels, e – fuels , etc . Will the Men and Woman of Europe do it ?

A mass pro-EU rally in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv brought together an estimated 200,000 protesters in the city’s Independence Square on Sunday, December 15.

The huge demonstration came on the same day that EU enlargement chief Stefan Fule announced, via Twitter, that talks on a trade deal with Ukraine had been halted.

Four weeks of protest have yielded little result, but opposition leader Vitali Klitschko says most of the country wants closer integration with Europe.

Klitschko told euronews: “70 percent of the Ukrainian population wants to see Ukraine as a part of European family.”

US Senator John McCain became the latest high-profile foreign politician to support Ukraine’s pro-EU activists.

McCain addressed the Kyiv crowd, saying: “Peaceful process and peaceful protest is inspiring your country and inspiring the world. Ukraine will make Europe better, and Europe will make Ukraine better.”

On suspending talks on the EU trade deal last month, Ukraine’s government said it would be refocusing on Russia instead.

Vodafone has said it continues to be hit by regulator-ordered price cuts, economic pressures and competitionm around Europe.

Its latest results did meet expectations, but it suffered a worse than expected 5.1 percent drop in service revenue in Germany, its biggest European market, and a 4.5 percent fall in its home base – Britain.

Spain was down 10.6 percent and Italy down 17.6 percent, as cash-strapped customers made fewer calls and did not upgrade their handsets.

The world’s second-largest mobile operator said it sees no prospect of improvement in the near future.

“Conditions in Europe remain challenging in northern and central and southern Europe,” Chief Executive Vittorio Colao told reporters.
