Convicted Bosnian Serb war criminal Ratko Mladić dies in Hague prison
The former Bosnian Serb military commander, sentenced to life for the summary execution of more than 8,000 Bosniaks in July 1995 and the years-long siege of Sarajevo, died at 84. He spent 15 years as a fugitive before his arrest in Serbia in 2011.

The base of this "conflict" is the racist contempt of jews against the population of Palestine (and the neighbouring countries like Syria and Egypt), and the displacement of the Palestinians in their own country due to this racism, going on since about 100 years… Gaza is a big open-air-prison, or a homeland, like in South Africa under Apartheid

I wonder if they would be better off if, instead of investing in mile after mile of tunnels and tens of thousands of rockets, they had spent that money on hospitals, schools, roads, social services, as they promised they would? What do you think, Euronews? Would they have been better off?

When Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005, the people living there had an opportunity to build an example of what they were capable of achieving. Instead, the militant Hamas took control and demonstrated to the world that, for them, peace was not what they wanted. Only the destruction of their Jewish enemies would suffice. Fifteen years on, and the insanity of that proposition is now clear for all to see. The Palestinian cause has become tedious and hopeless. Their leadership now seems to take the position that they will fight to the last drop of their people's blood. What a sad and wretched position to find one's self in!

Only utter morons are unable to understand one simple thing: no-one is going to open up the the fence for a crowd chanting hatred and revenge slogans. Hey, how about this: instead of electing a terrorist organization to govern Gaza, digging tunnels into Israel to attack peaceful civiians, buying rockets and making bombs, you should have focused the multi-million dollar international aid and your personal time and efforts on education, infrastructure development and modernization, which would have enabled you to turn Gaza into the start-up, high-tech, Middle Eastern "Silicone Valley" success, just like Israelies did. Then, after achieving economic prosperity (or at least equality) and have demonstrated peaceful intent toward Jews, you would have set yourself free: Israel would not need to have fences between Gaza and Israel in this situation. You could have travelled where you wanted to, completely freely, could have bought the land you needed to in Israel and Gaza, could have done whatever you wished inside Israel or out, inside Egypt or Jordan or Lebanon, just like French can do in Italy, or Brits in Germany, or New Yorkers in California. But noooo, instead of the drive for economic prosperity, you chose the primitive route of violence and victim mentality, demonstrating to the World, yet again, that you are incapable of anything else but intolerance and hatred. Now, there is nothing else left for you to do, but keep rioting at the fence, burning tires and hurling your own feces at IDF, like a bunch of stupid monkeys. Good luck with that – it is clearly working well for you! :))

Israel defeated Egypt, Jordan, Syria in June of 1967 and occupied the Sinai Peninsula, Golan Heights as well as Gaza, West Bank. The inhabitants that were there were displaced which is what happens during a war. Is it Israel's fault that they were attacked? No it wasn't and the repercussions of the attack did not work in the favor of the Palestinians unfortunately. I believe the Palestinians are fortunate that Israel even allows them to live in Gaza and the West Bank. If the Palestinians want the land back they're going to have to fight Israel and take it and I believe we all know how that will turn out, another bitter defeat for the Palestinians.
