‘Not in my name’ – demonstrators denounce violence after Paris attacks

Thousands of demonstrators have taken to the streets in Europe to denounce violence, in the wake of the Paris attacks.

Crowds filled the streets of the French city of Toulouse, coming together to show solidarity and to remember the victims in the capital.

“It is to show as well that we are united against everything that tears apart society – and that we all aspire to peace in the end,” said one demonstrator.

    didn't see a lot of Muslims. So how could it be a not in my name protest? Seen more Muslims in Paris a few months ago with black flags marching down the street yelling alah snack bar.

Normandy church killers pledge allegiance to ISIL in a video

The ISIL militant group has released a video of two men it says were those who attacked a church in France. Both are pledging allegiance to the group’s leader.

The attackers were shot dead by police after taking hostages and killing a priest. One, already named by polic, was 19-year-old local Adel Kermiche, who had twice tried to reach Syria to join ISlL.
