His dna didn't match any Turkey origin. His dna was 100 percent of Sardinia.

To all the people upset that “they made ötzi black” that’s not even true ötzi is a predecessor of the Turkish. you can Google “Turkish person” to get an idea of how he looked. Also it really doesn’t matter what race he was nobody cared in 5000 bc.

Otzi was black, trans, 160 IQ, engineer, bookwriter, and woke. He died due to climate change caused by whites.

I thought it's common knowledge that ALL Europeans are descended from Anatolian farmers. There is nothing special about this discovery.

I'm confused… if he lived 5,000 years ago, how could he be descended from present day farmers in Turkey? Shouldn't this say 'from the same line as present day farmers'? I find this very interesting since my DNA is from Northern Italy and includes DNA from Turkey.

Unbelievable how the comments are dominated by half-witted neo-nazi types enraged because the analysis of Otzi's genome (do you know what that is, fellas?) has uncovered a gene for darker-than-expected European skin! This points to one glaring need: MUCH more resources must be directed towards providing high quality public education…but wait, oh no…that would be SOCIALISM!!.. aaaargh…

A mass pro-EU rally in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv brought together an estimated 200,000 protesters in the city’s Independence Square on Sunday, December 15.

The huge demonstration came on the same day that EU enlargement chief Stefan Fule announced, via Twitter, that talks on a trade deal with Ukraine had been halted.

Four weeks of protest have yielded little result, but opposition leader Vitali Klitschko says most of the country wants closer integration with Europe.

Klitschko told euronews: “70 percent of the Ukrainian population wants to see Ukraine as a part of European family.”

US Senator John McCain became the latest high-profile foreign politician to support Ukraine’s pro-EU activists.

McCain addressed the Kyiv crowd, saying: “Peaceful process and peaceful protest is inspiring your country and inspiring the world. Ukraine will make Europe better, and Europe will make Ukraine better.”

On suspending talks on the EU trade deal last month, Ukraine’s government said it would be refocusing on Russia instead.

Vodafone has said it continues to be hit by regulator-ordered price cuts, economic pressures and competitionm around Europe.

Its latest results did meet expectations, but it suffered a worse than expected 5.1 percent drop in service revenue in Germany, its biggest European market, and a 4.5 percent fall in its home base – Britain.

Spain was down 10.6 percent and Italy down 17.6 percent, as cash-strapped customers made fewer calls and did not upgrade their handsets.

The world’s second-largest mobile operator said it sees no prospect of improvement in the near future.

“Conditions in Europe remain challenging in northern and central and southern Europe,” Chief Executive Vittorio Colao told reporters.
