http://www.FashionTV.com/videos MILAN — It was a riot of colors at Milan Fashion Week as Gianantonio A. Paladini presented their swimwear collection for Spring/Summer 2013. To begin the show, models took to the runway in a mix of pop-art swimwear looks of blocking colors, accessories by belts, knee-high socks, platform heels, and avant-garde headpieces and cuffs. The collection soon progressed into more mature looks, as the color palette mellowed into purples, browns, and monochrome, while the swimwear designs kept a touch of glamor and fun, embellished with sequins, tassels, and prints.

The collection bridges traditional Korean hanbok elements with radical, modern garbing architecture. Key details include reimagined git (traditional removable collars), deep slit necklines, and dramatic bias-cut paneling that balance structural tension with fluid motion.
Swelling raglan-dolman sleeves, cocoon silhouettes, and high-waisted shell-like leather trousers create a striking interplay between upper-body tension and lower-body volume. A rich tactile dialogue emerges through contrasting materials – juxtaposing habotai silk, organza, and linen with metallic surfaces, shimmery vinyl, and intentionally crushed leathers.
Rooted in dramatic black and ivory, the palette comes alive with painterly flashes of sage, citron, berry, and ink.

was this a contest to see how stupid they could make the models look??
lets put yarn and weird rings on their heads/forearms then thigh high socks in colors from a bad 1970's TV show…. FOR beach and swimwear this was horrible. =o
