   The Finnish government is coming under increasing public and political pressure to close the EU's eastern border with Russia, and put a stop to an apparent sanctions loophole.

   Russia relaxed its COVID-related border restrictions mid-July, meaning for the first time since before the pandemic, Russians with Schengen visas can now legally cross the border by bus or car, even though they're banned from travelling to the EU in planes and trains.

    Most of russian upper middle class tourists head straight to the airport and travel to central Europe, Mediterranean or to other popular holiday destinations. Poorer normal income russians don't have enough money to spend or even travel nowadays.

    . Not putin is killing in Ukraine but citizens of russian federation. After killing in Ukraine they are going to Europe ( which russians wants to cover with radioactive dust ) buy under-sanction products, organise pro war protests than joyfully return to russia. Having russians putin can take as a pretext to come and save them , as rashists are doing now in Ukraine or did in Georgia,Moldova…In ‘39 Foreign Minister, Molotov, claimed the Soviet was not dropping bombs on Finland, but merely airlifting food to starving Finns as nowadays Lavrov talks about russian peace in Ukraine. If not stopped now russian can continue their operation in all neighboring countries

    Many Russians traveling to Finland are returning to Russia with purchased goods that were banned by the the sanctions, like night vision goggles, communication systems and other advanced electronics just to name a few. Many of these goods go straight to Russian soldiers who lack them. Russians are extremely astute and shrewd and we cannot give them any chance. Out with them! A pandemic closed all borders, but now when a brutal, heinous invasion with the slaughtering of thousands of innocent Ukrainian people takes place we are precluded to do the same, allowing this country of murderers to make tourism & shopping while they're having fun bombing cities and killing people?!

    Having ordinary Russians travel out of the country, will benefit Ukraine in several ways. Travelling Russians will be outside the Russia State media influence and will:
    – be faced with information that contradicts Putin's narrative, that it is a "war" and not a "special operation", that Russia losses are vast, that Russia's military might has been exposed as a fallacy.
    – see that although countries outside of Russia are not immune to the economic effects of Russia's war, shortages and prices are less than those inside Russia.
    – sense that the majority of people side with Ukraine and not Russia.

    – see that Russia is barred from nearly all the global culture and sporting events.
    – feel a sense of hostility towards Russia by those that used to welcome them with open arms.

    No, ordinary Russian tourism should be encouraged and not curtailed.

    Tourism is fine but i dont know about immigration from russia. They have historically russified regions by sending in russian immigrants then taken them over like in Ukraine. Now a complete ban would be less than ideal, but a small amount should only be let in as immigrants. Anyone saying they shouldnt come to finland because they are killing ukrainians is stupid. Do you honestly think all russians support the war? Like really? Are you that dumb?

    Greetings from Russia. All Russians support Putin and the special operation in Ukraine. This is a private matter for Russia and Ukraine. Russia is fighting neo-Nazism and Bendera. It is not for Europeans to teach Russians how to live. NATO has waged many illegal wars against Serbia, Yugoslavia, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen and many others. As for the border, I really hope that it will be closed. I don't want Russians to spend their money in unfriendly countries. Plus, I don’t want Europeans to use Russian gas and gasoline at a discount. Finland and Europe have their own prices, buy there.

    Prior to becoming PM he was the Finance Minister of Matti Vanhanen's government (Centre "Corrupt" Party). Vanahanen was proved to be corrupt. During Katainen's role as FM, he borrowed and handed over 50 billion euros to the EU, Greece, Spain, Ireland and Portugal, and to the IMF.

    When he became PM he kept on borrowing and handing over billions to the EU.

    Realising annihilation at the coming election, Katainen resigned as PM with just 6 months to run as PM. A caretaker PM took over, namely the totally embarrassing Alexander Stubb. Stubb is the ultimate Globalist schill.

    Kokoomus were trounced in the election. But got back into the newly formed coalition with the Centre "Corrupt" Party. Another 4 years of borrowing and handing over billions to the EU, the IMF, etc. continued.

    The next election saw both Kokoomus and the Centre Party annihilated. Now, Finland has a leftist minority party government led by the SDP, Labour Socialist Party. The borrowing and handing over of billions continues, while Finland's really economy heads down the toilet.

    So, who are the leading globalist schills in Finland? The President. He is a Kokoomus man, and according to reliable sources, his wife who is some 40 years younger than him is in fact his Goddaughter.

    The new PM (not elected as PM, but installed as PM), Sanna Marin (Labour Socialist Party) is a WEF Young Global Leader. The Finance Minister, Annika Saarikko (Centre "Corrupt" Party) is also a WEF Young Global Leader and has absolutely no training in economics.

    Now the very important fact. Finland had a total public sector debt (state and local government) of around 50 billion (the annual total state budget is around 50 billion) euros back in 2003, when the current President was Finance Minister. Niinistö was very worried about this debt at this time and lectured Finns how it was unsustainable debt.

    Now the total public sector debt is over 150 billion with Finland continuing to borrow billions and hand them over to the EU.

    Finally, the President has always been a supporter of NATO. Finland was an unofficial NATO member. When Finland joined the NATO Expeditionary Force back in 2017. Unbeknown to the people of Finland, this was the backdoor entrance to NATO. Then the government and Niinistö decided to officially get Finland into NATO without officially asking the people of Finland directly (= no real democracy).

    What happened to Katainen and Stubb? Katainen became an EU Commissioner is is famously photographed having cosy dinners with "George Soros". Stubb sits on the pathetic board of the pathetic and politically corrupt European Investment Bank. They are known as two of the Three Lizards of Oz. The third is the current WEF Kokoomus leader, Petteri Orpo.

    So, in conclusion, Russian tourists are not any threat to Finns and Finland. The Globalist leaders of Finland are the real threat.
