Pakistan to US: stop the blame game

Published

on

http://www.euronews.net/ Washington must stop blaming Pakistan for regional instability – that is the blunt message today from the Pakistani Prime Minister at a gathering of political leaders.

“The blame game must end,” said Yusuf Raza.

“Pakistan cannot be pressurised to do more,” he added. “Our national interests should be respected in all circumstances. From our side, all doors for negotiations are open.”

There is anger against Washington over remarks made after an attack on the US embassy in Kabul.

    @Badboy13m1987,
    Well…it's because while we have problems we don't:
    1)Execute people for apostasy
    2)Execute people for blasphemy
    3)Supply false information to help terrorists hide and then object to shooting the terrorists

    There's a real difference b/w U.S.A and its peoples and "Washington". The American Empire is hated and feared by everyone and there is a world of difference between them. Americans love their country – that's obvious – who doesn't love theirs?
    A little relevant history of Pakistan/America is illuminating – Zia al Haq president from 1977 – 1988 vicious military dictator, proponent of radical islam and nuclear weapons supported until his death by Washington

    U.S. needs someone to blame for their failures like they blamed Cambodia for their failures in Vitenam.

    @RayKalmNiam Be sure to look in the mirror. Unfortunately, many Americans feel the same way about Pakistanis.
