Swiss claim record for world’s longest passenger train with Alpine trip
Train company Rhaetian Railway has claimed the record with its 100-carriage-long convoy spanning 1.91 kilometres, which went on a spectacular trip through the Swiss Alps.

Iran launches strikes on Jordan after US attacks an island in Hormuz
The US attacks on Iran are the first in around a month as the Trump administration had shifted its war objective to inflict maximum economic pain on Tehran. Washington says the strikes were aimed at preventing Iranian forces from disrupting global shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.

Cooooooool I thought it was going to be like the Indian pacific or the Gahn in Australia just running on long straight tracks, but 25 electric passenger train sets running one of the most winding rail routes in the world is certainly impressive especially boarding and disembarking the train at stations designed for 4 or 6 carriage trains.
