Iranian Pharrell fans released on bail after ‘Happy’ video
A group of young Iranians arrested for posting a homemade tribute to Pharrell Williams’ hit song ‘Happy’ have reportedly been released on bail.
Posted on YouTube, three men and three unveiled women are seen dancing to the song. The video’s producer is still thought to be in custody.
Describing the clip as ”vulgar” and ”damaging public chastity”, Iranian police chief, Brigadier Hossein Saajedi-Nia, claimed authorities had responded rapidly to the content.
