Clear Close-up evidence of flowing liquid, most likely candidate would be H2O… Also visible are cracks and shrunken mud scales or plates as are seen when fine-grained mud DRIES on Earth.
Meanwhile the vehicle has parked for this image at point where there is a clear Right Angle in the rock structure in the soil just to the right of its front end "bumper" (that says "CURIOSIty" — odd capitalization there.)
It is possible to find 90º angles in nature occasionally… Of course the image here MIGHT be distorting it so it only appears to be a perfect 90º angle… We humans tend to interpret patterns & fit them to structures we know. But it sure looks like an artificially arranged stone foundation for a wall.

A very disturbing area looking like a scene where the viewer has to ask! Is this an area of total devastation? Or is this Mars showing there are many right angles and what looks like openings or entrances for small entities if the camera shows what's spread all over the planet?
