The U.K. Government responded said on 9 May 2018
The UK is leaving the EU’s Single Market and Customs Union. We are seeking to establish a deep and special partnership with the EU and a new customs arrangement outside the EU’s Customs Union”

We didn't vote for a deal we voted to leave big business and politicians are the ones dragging this out, the UK will do very nicely trading on WTO rules just get us the hell out ASAP and keep our £40 billion this has gone on way too long already

You have to laugh when some clown's say certain parts of the UK voted to remain and should be exempt rofl. It's like saying in elections parts of the UK don't vote for certain parties so should be exempt from whoever wins haha

Since the people in England and Wales voted to leave the EU, that vote should be respected. However, since the
People in Scotland and Northern Ireland voted to remain, they should be allowed another vote on whether
To join England and Wales in leaving, or choose independence , or in Northern Ireland’s case, either independence
Or joining the Irish Republic, and stay in the EU.

If this career-minded, traitorous politician Theresa May manages to goad her party into accepting ANY deal that does not fully honour the majority decision to leave (that has to mean completely leave) the dictatorial EU it merely confirms what we already know: the political class firmly believes that they are apart from the people and know best and that their party comes first. In which case what is the point in voting ever again on ANY issue in the UK – referendums or general elections. When we vote for a party of choice every five years or earlier we are actually persuaded to believe that our little 'crosses in the box' actually count and have an influence on the running of our country.
Well I'm fairly sure that I am amongst a huge and rapidly rising number of people who will never vote Tory again and, as Labour are just as untrustworthy, probably never turn out to vote again for anyone unless it is UKIP who have done such tremendous work getting us to this point. We trusted May and her little 'dinner-party' cabal (government within a government) but those who had the chance should have acted much sooner to oust her. If this is democracy, where one person can dictate policy – probably because all or most politicians are too worried about losing their jobs – then to me it does look more of a dictatorship. The EU obviously want us to stay as the cracks appear in their unwanted and failing project and this woman has obliged them. This Brexit issue is more than any one government, more than any one prime minister. The country will have to live with all the consequences long after they have gone, though not forgotten for their treachery.

I want to take my pet python on a summer holiday to the island of Ibiza in Italy on March 30, 2019….. will someone please advise me on what precautions I should take on arrival at the airport in Rome where I am told I have to change planes. Will EU allow the plane to land in Rome? Will Rome Customs demand a visa for me and my python? Will we be sent to jail and eat stale pizzas the rest of our lives? Will my python survive this traumatic experience? He doesn't understand Italian, he only understands English spoken with an Oxford or Cambridge accent.

Britain is doomed either way. If it goes through with Brexit Ireland will object as it would go against the Good Friday agreement. In that deal, Northern Ireland has the right to opt for reunification with the Irish Republic after a referendum. If that happens and Ireland is reunited Scotland will demand and get a second referendum on Independence as it narrowly failed to get it the last time. Scotland would have lost its EU membership if it had voted for independence last time. So Scotland too will become independent. If Britain reverses Brexit in letter or in spirit the consequences can be a bloodbath for Tory MPs and Ministers and some others too as the murder by knifing and gunshot wounds of a woman labour MP earlier on showed. Knifings of MPs will become a dozen a day. As it is London has 20 fatal knifings a month. If Brexit is reversed in any way then Parliament will be littered with the dead bodies of MPs and it would have to be renamed the Royal Slaughter House or turned into a general hospital called the Duke of Cornwall's Infirmary. Such is the level of public fury over this. David Cameron was stupid enough to go in for a referendum over Brexit. After he lost the gamble, unlike a Kamakazi pilot he jumped out of the fighter aircraft, after setting it on a course to crash into the EU aircraft carrier. The other navigator called Boris Johnson also jumped out. His co-pilot Squadron Leader Thersa now has the unenviable task of crashing her plane into the EU. She has already tied the Bamzai scarf around her forehead and is going into a steep dive towards the EU aircraft carrier. She has begun screaming BAMZAI! BAMZAI! as her plane zooms down. Many years from now they will make a Hollywood movie on this and call it TORY! TORY! TORY!

The people speak a Frisian dialect (with plenty of French words in it) in the end germanic people after all. What happened to national sovereignty? The Angles? The Saxons? The franks, danish, dutch… and native Celts, gauls, slavs, greek, italics… (inclusivity of indigenous people is very important we learned) now is no time for tribalism. There is a Mountbatten-Windsor heir to the throne!

The the UK may leave. It's not in their hands. It's the perfect Union.
We have legal text but no legitimate Head of State.
The Commonwealth a eligible Mountbatten-Windsor but no effing Constitution.

We have enough monarchs for an elective monarchy. The UK is already a Nation of the Commonwealth reich whopsie daisy language Commonwealth realm.

We have a Common market for within.
In general we have a lot in common 😏

He might be Head of State King of the UK.
Historically all European Kings legitimate from Charlemagne and the (Holy) Roman Empire. The original Empire. The UK can't
stop us from offering Mountbatten to be someones Head of State (Representative position like in Sweden, Netherlands). Then electing him Head of State of the first constitutional Empire. The naming is negotiable.

You can't stop the EU from becoming a member of the Commonwealth realm. 😁 There is also quite frankly no European royal to evade to. The fact that next to every everything is royally labeled majestically a Kingdom makes self-denial impossible.

The UK can evade the Union, we just become a Commonwealth realm multinational. Wherever they turn the common market will already be there 😁.

Or something to that tune. 😂

People's vote: the people of NI have a referendum to either stay with Britain in a hard Brexit, or remain in the EU.

Brexit, Bought and Sold with Russian Gold.

  19. @dunholm1

    April 24, 2024 at 6:27 pm

This deal would see NI still under EU control, so if it happens then May will have effectively broken up the Union. But we shouldn't be surprised. She has schemed and lied from the start, and proven once again that to EU-fanatics their holy project comes 1st and democracy and people come a poor 2nd.

Lol stop brexit? So go against what the people voted for and believe the mainstream media that the people don’t want brexit now, let me tell you we do want it and it’s gonna happen, but I can tell that that sneak our PM is gonna do some kind of deal that we will be still tangled up with the European Union in some way or another 😡

The queen and her family who own the UK and the Brits, have decided to leave the EU.
The Europeans should respect this, and kick the queen and her slaves out of the EU.

What will happen to my bank account? In EU

  29. @DanDman14a

    April 24, 2024 at 6:27 pm

"While enabling mainland Britain some flexibility in defining its own trade rules" So enabling mainland Britain but not but not the whole UK. Northern Ireland effectively becomes a protectorate of the EU.
"Some flexibility" In other words we are still controlled by the EU commission and what they dictate.
For What? For access to a customs union that the people of this country voted to leave.
This is a complete betrayal of everything this government promised, this is not leaving the EU.
This deal, even if they somehow force it through, will never be accepted and the failure to deliver the promised Brexit will not be forgiven.
I can't wait for the next General Election, bring it on.

Targeting Patriarch Kirill risks fuelling EU scepticism, Bulgarian foreign minister warns

Velislava Petrova-Chamova told Euronews that the EU’s sanctions against Russia should have a financial impact and not be a symbolic instrument – and that this, among other reasons, is why Sofia championed the removal of the head of Russia’s Orthodox Church from the 21st sanctions package.
