«Why didn’t Donbass people just leave to Russia if they love Russia so much? And if they wanted to stay home, they could stay. Why did they rebel in first place?»

    — Let’s leave aside the factor of Nazi terror in Ukraine. So they would have a choice between having no representation in their own country and being forced to abandon their own language and culture or leaving, right?

Ukraine was created on the grounds of equal rights for Russian-speaking population, that was the promise of the first Ukrainian president, the cornerstone of Ukrainian independence, the only reason why Russia and Russian-speaking population accepted it and didn’t dispute it even when Russia rose from ashes.

❗️Millions of Ukrainians, not just in Donbass, were not happy about language laws, prohibition of Russian culture and alterations of history. Parties that represented their views were disbanded and declared illegal. Like the Party of Regions, a party that represented East and South Ukraine and was deprived of their victory in presidential elections by rioters from other regions.

Russia did expect that those forces will return to power or at least will get serious representation in government and will peacefully solve the crisis and repeal discriminative laws. Instead, Ukraine got Zelensky who promised national reconciliation and peace but did absolutely the opposite.

Disbanding opposition parties representing many millions of people, terrorizing and persecuting opponents, killing journalists. With support of well fed capital and backing of semi-legal paramilitary formations that terrorized the country Zelensky could not fear anything except rebellion in other regions and he made sure that those regions are kept in toe by appointing local governors and backing them with force.

There were no chances for removal of Zelensky through traditional Ukrainian means of street riots because he made it impossible. There were no chances for his impeachment because he disbanded the strongest opposition and terrorized the rest to get the puppet parliament.

Russia could wait for a few more years and hope that Zelensky’s successor will show more reason and integrity. His own popularity was below the floor and he had no chances for a second term in democratic elections.

However, there was no guarantee of democratic elections, there was no guarantee that Zelensky won’t be replaced by a similar populist who will forget about all promises right after inauguration and there was no guarantee that Zelensky won’t apply to further escalation and start a massive attack in Donbass blaming Russia of everything to create the image of national hero that he enjoys now.
Most importantly, waiting would mean more deaths in Donbass. It was no longer possible to wait.

U.S soldier Dane "Bird" Partridge, from Idaho, was killed in Ukraine. He arrived in Ukraine on 27th April. Yesterday, along with twelve other U.S soldiers, his trench was hit by an artillery round instantly killing all his companions. He survived with shrapnel wounds and was crawling back to a Ukrainian command post when he was caught by Wagner PMC's. Photographs discovered on his mobile phone showed him and his comrades taking selfies over the bodies of executed civilians who appear to have been killed for fun. The Wagner Military contractors castrated him then shot him in the face. His body was flown back to the United States in a military aircraft on October 3rd. Fighting as a mercenary means his surviving family will receive no pensions or compensations for his death.

Zelensky should not have attacked the crimean bridge this is a miscalculation on Zelenskys part which has led to the Kremlin raining down of over 70 precision guided missiles from Russia's vast Military Arsenal. Zelenskys action has provoked the Kremlin to now release their dangerous advanced weaponry in the ongoing Ukraine war. We need Pres Macron to work with European leaders to end the war.

Putin is smart he wants to prolong this war into the winter till nato/eu countries disintegrated (protests are already going on in most countries) not only in the best interest of their own public but also because the change in regimes in the foregoing countries will be unsupportive of Ukraine, and finally at the end who will ask Zelensky to pay for the damages or rebuild.

😓😕😰😥😢😨😓😓😭😓😕😰😥😢😨😓😓😭😰😕😕😰 let's weep rivers of tears of grief friends, now tell me with all NATO military bases nearby, nobody had no idea of hostile threats in order to warn Ukraine citizens be careful, you see, Putin now can murder anyone he wants with such an ease because nobody's willing to stop him. ..what a shame. We have American allies but then warning of hostile threats is not of their business, there are NATO military bases but then only Americans decide .. that Europeans are hateful like Russians and they deserve to die, isn't it funny?
