Interesting editing of the report. Very few take the view that leaving is not worth the trouble. Most regret that the UK ever joined the EU. Analysis of UK finances over the last forty years show that EU membership has not brought any benefits to the UK. The UK has effectively paid for the privilege of importing more from the EU than we export to it. The stance taken by the brexit negotiators, far from weakening support for brexit it has hardened UK resolve to leave. Barnier is doing a very good job of ensuring a no deal brexit, saving the UK from paying any divorce bill. Barnier's latest comments ( insults directed at the British ) show that like Macron, he has imperial ambitions for the EU federal super state and intends it to flex it's muscles with ill advised military adventures. One must wonder if he is expecting German support in this endeavour, if so he is likely to be disappointed.

We won't pay a thing apart from normal membership until we conclude a deal.

And we want our assets also.

    And our £130bn investments.
