http://youtube.com/FashionTV KYOTO – The Fashion Cantata takes place at the Nishi Honganji temple, one of two large temples in the center of Kyoto. Nishi Honganji means “Western Temple of the Original Vow.” This big fashion show has both traditional Japanese and modern Asian elements. Models shuffle in traditional Japanese flat shoes and silk print kimono wraps and carry conical umbrellas. as well as contemporary plaid fabrics, sequins, and fur later in the show.They use Shisheido makeup products when preparing for the runway. Concerts by some of Japan’s most popular singers also take place.
