    What did you expect? You would stubbornly try to hold your power by using your civilians as meatshields and Russia will return home idly. They came to overthrow your government, you can't expect them to play by your rules. If you cared about Ukranian people you would have surrendered by now instead of risking not just everyone's life in Ukraine, but also risking a much bigger war that could be ignited with this event.
