As the UK self harms for no gain brexiteers are obsessed with saving face. Unbelievable because Farage et al will be nowhere to be seen having sold a pup.
Hopefully sanity will prevail. Cancel Brexit for God's sake.

Why doesn't the EU just throw the UK out for their shameless inability to cooperate? And btw where's Jonathon Pie on this?

Yes, value of pound down the drain, food price increases.

THE DEMOCRATIC VOTE WAS TO LEAVE THE EU, No it was not as it was based on falsehoods.
    As example:
Nigel Farage the boy from Eton, ex metal exchange
dealer and funded by millionaire insurance broker Mr. Banks, via UKIP, wanted
Brexit. Then I suggest that he as MEP in EU receiving a net salary of  approximately £1525 a week should do exactly
that. RESIGN RIGHT NOW if he truly believes what he says he wanted HYPOCRIT.
As for the pensioners who voted Brexit, that salary is over 9 times your state
pension. How much (to all you reading this) take home this week, eh?

    If Brexit goes through,
everything stays the same, except auto right to live in EU and goodbye to the
European Court of Justice. Now we going to be stuck, being ruled by this incompetent
privileged elite. No deal with EU is a glorious opportunity, yes for the RICH.
who can BUY their way into another country to reside.  As for Michael
Caine, we are the poor being ruled over by the bureaucrats in UK. What a
condescending bunch they are, what gives them the right to rule over
anyone. So it’s going business as usual, zero hour contracts, minimum wage,
etc. TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE OF UK, WAKE UP, before your future has been SOLD
down the river. Demand a REFERENDUM NOW and VOTE REMAIN. The UK, the country
without a flag, it is illegal to fly Union Flag in public, it belongs to
the ruling elite in law, not you.

This video is simply EU propaganda, and as such bares little or no relationship to reality. If the EU negotiators have based their negotiating stance on this sort of nonsense, then no wonder it thinks that May can get this so called deal through parliament. You can bet your house on this one. This insult to our intelligence, has almost infinitely less chance of getting through parliament as Monday has of suddenly deciding to follow Tuesday, which is none whatsoever, just in case anyone was still in any doubt. The only reason why our government seems so keen to keep the UK in the EU, is because our own establishment has invested countless millions on us staying in it. However this ever more obvious fact, holds no interests to either the British working class or most of our middle-class, who never gained anything from being in it, and have everything to gain from being out of it. The EU is playing hard ball with the wrong people, this time.

Westminster will reverse Brexit by any means they can. This is about money not democracy. Civil servants and politicians can make vast sums in Brussels and they wont give that up . Second or third referendum but eventually they WILL keep us in the EU.

We will not be hoodwinked, Mays deal will be rejected & we will have N0-DEAL (unless the EU ditches the backstp)

  17. @atksoul

    April 27, 2024 at 10:38 am

The lengths that the Remain media and political class will go to is breathtaking. If there eventually is a referendum required that ballot paper should read 'Mays Deal' or 'Clean Break'. HOWEVER, prior to this, the tory party need to step up, elect a pro Brexit leader to go back to the EU and the 27 countries individually and seek a withdrawal deal that is sensible. The current May deal is not Brexit, it does not deliver Brexit (open fact). May's attempt to eventually push for a referendum offering 'her deal' or 'leave' is a vote to remain whatever the choice. This is defying the decision of the country, and is nothing less than grand treason. So, what are the steps needed to be taken to put her and the government on trial?

  18. @josephdaly7102

    April 27, 2024 at 10:38 am

British politicians haven’t had to take responsibility for their actions for 40 years the EU has taken that away from them, and funnily enough that’s how they like it. Wages for doing Nowt.

What the Swedish MP said should also be the same for the national vote we had back in 2016. We have a deal and there is no second chance to renegotiate. We had a vote here in the UK, Leave or Remain, and the result was to LEAVE. So there is no second chance.

Trump reimposes US blockade and demands 20% Hormuz shipping fee

Trump declared the US would collect a 20% fee on all Hormuz cargo as “Guardian of the Strait,” flipping the script on Iran’s own toll demands, while US forces struck dozens of targets in Iran and the IRGC hit Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait and Oman in the biggest exchange since the April ceasefire.
