MPs discuss Brexit after update on Middle East situation | LIVE

Published

on

Secretary State of Defence Ben Wallace is expected to update lawmakers on the Middle East after the killing of Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani by a U.S. drone in Iraq on Friday. Following this, MPs debate Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Brexit bill as they return from a two-week holiday break. Last month lawmakers gave preliminary approval to Conservative Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s EU divorce bill in a decisive vote that broke years of political deadlock over Brexit.

Don't worry too much about defence. You now get to keep the 100 or so long range nukes in the submarines that the EU army desperately wanted to control. No one messes with the UK. Get Brexit though with NO political alignments… hopefully other countries will follow. You guys invented the parliamentary system. Hopefully you will get the hang of doing it again. Other countries in the Commonwealth look forward to your direction and doing trade with you again. Kind regards from Australia.
