well, the whole sorry episode and its (pretty sad aftermath in the media) should (at least!) open everyone's eyes to the fact that Brexit – the Referendum, the subsequent political froth-storm, etc. – was all about the little England Tories, wanting the world to go back to 1913… and if it doesn't… just look out – they're gonna squeam 'n' squeam until their sick.
Removing Mrs May would have been worth it, if it removed her deal in the process. The timing for the no confidence vote was just a little off, a few days either way and the outcome might have been different. Repeating the same experiment t over and over again and expecting a different result is a definition of madness. Replacing her with a truly Eurosceptic PM would have changed the reactants in this experiment. Killing the Mrs May's brexit deal would have completely changed the dynamics. As it is, the DUP will reject the deal until the backstop is removed as will many MPs concerned about the UK being trapped in the backstop. The likely outcome is a referendum with the same question as last time, a straight choice between in and out. The current default position is to leave in March next year, deal or no deal.
yes very childish.. made the tories look foolish.. what would they do if she lost.. what a mess.. she did well.. brexit will happen.. brexit would have still happenned,,, but even messier

No confidence wasn't waste of time, it was more pressure on May to get real and deliver what she is in the office for
