FBI admits outcome of data battle with Apple will set legal precedent – corporate

The ongoing battle between the FBI and Apple over access to iPhone data of a terrorist, came before Congress on Tuesday. At the hearing the chief of the US law enforcement bureau Jim Comey admitted that forcing Apple to hand over data from the iPhone of one of the San Bernardino shooters would set a “precedent for other cases”:http://www.euronews.com/2016/03/01/apple-fbi-stand-off-raises-red-flags-for-european-data-protection-agreement/ but that it need not be a problem.
