In fact, he used numbers throughout the piece, opening the show with 1 and later putting numbers on sweaters and placing them on sweaters. Those numbers, were in actuality, a reference to the numbers worn on a sportsman’s jersey, though in the quintessential Ferragamo-style (mixed with tailoring.)
